The Town Center Area Community Improvement District is a MOSAIC...fusing diverse elements...it is a self-taxing district ...it is a catalyst for planning, investing and accelerating infrastructure improvements... It provides the stimulus for a vibrant community, attractive to both existing and prospective businesses.

From Lanie Shipp, Executive Director

LanieSeeing the huge cranes in the Town Center area is a definite sign that something new is coming. In this case the bridges are being set for the  Noonday Creek Trail. The section being developed is the last phase from Duncan Road to Bells Ferry Road and is scheduled to be completed in June, 2014. The section from Cobb Parkway to Duncan Road has been complete and in use since September, 2010.

When the 7-mile, $11.7-million Noonday Creek Trail is finished, it will stretch east from Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park to Bells Ferry Road, meandering through the Town Center Area along the creek. The Trail will have five pedestrian bridges and two trail heads.

The TCACID appreciates our Inaugural Friends of the Trail and wants to give a shout out to each: Cherokee Hyundai, Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, Fifth Third BankNovelis, and WellStar.

We invite you to come walk, run or bike on the completed potion.
