This must-have collection features a single design in sixteen luscious shades. The design looks like marble or crumpled paper -- and is a fabulous alternative to solids in your patchwork or appliqué.

Solstice Classroom: Curved Seams
|
 All of the compasses in Solstice float on a black background, but they are pieced onto the background in a variety of ways. In Block 4, the compass is a circle, sewn into a frame using curved seams. Sewing curved seams requires you to mark your pieces and take your time stitching, but it's really not as difficult as you may have feared!
