Trails Walk

On Saturday, April 12th, as part of the Earth Day activities being held at the Community Recreation and Environmental Center at Haverford Reserve, and in partnership with the Township Environmental Advisory Committee, Assistant Township Manager Tim Denny will lead the 8th annual "Merry Place to Haverford Reserve" Trail Walk.

A van will be available to bring walkers back to Merry Place each hour from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Paddock Playground Bathroom Update

The pre-fabricated bathroom at Paddock Park  was delivered last week and is being prepared for installation. I will notify you when the installation is complete. Thank you to Parks & Rec Facilities Coordinator Eric Gillard, and to all of the other Township staff who have helped to complete this project.

Haverford Township Day - Sept. 27, 2014

The date for Haverford Township Day, the biggest community event of the year, has been changed to Saturday, September 27, 2014. The date was originally moved from the traditional first Saturday in October because it coincides with Yom Kippur, the holiest day on the Jewish calendar. The date was changed again to avoid a conflict with the Brookline Fire Company's 100th Anniversary celebration.

ADHD Discussion

The Haverford Township Rotary Club is sponsoring a program, "Promoting Family and School Success for Children and Youth with ADHD" on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at 7:30 p.m. at Lynnewood Elementary School. Click here for more information.
