An emergency notification was sent to residents at 6 p.m. today. KYW was notified by the Police, and this information is also on the Township website.
The Township has published a "Winter Operations Guide" explaining how the Township prepares for storms, operates during stormy conditions, and how it handles the aftermath of these storms. Click here to view the Guide.
In addition, it is important for residents to know that the Township Code prohibits shoveling or plowing snow into Township streets. The Codes and Police Departments will be strictly enforcing the snow ordinance to ensure that private contractors and residents do not place snow back onto our roadways.
