No Trash Collection on Veteran's Day;
Trash to Be Collected on Tuesday
Because of the observance of Veteran's Day, there will be no trash collection on Monday, November 11, 2013. In addition, Township offices will be closed on Monday.
Trash collection in the 4th Ward (and any other Monday collection wards) will be on Tuesday, November 12th. Trash collection in wards with Tuesday collections will be picked up on Wednesday, November 13th. There will be no yard waste collection this week; it will resume throughout the Township next Wednesday, November 20th.

Board & Committee Reorganization
Every year the Board of Commissioners holds a reorganizational meeting. In addition, the Board appoints individuals to serve on various Township Boards and Commissions. Click here to read the notice about the 2014 Board reorganization. Applicants must send a letter stating the position in which they are interested (along with a resume or other biographical information) to Lawrence J. Gentile, Township Manager, Haverford Township, 2325 Darby Road, Havertown, PA 19083. The deadline for applications is Monday, December 2, 2013.

Leaf Collection
 The second leaf collection in the 4th Ward will be during the week of December 2nd. Please remember to place leaves at the curbside and not in the street.

Holly Berry Skate
The annual Holly Berry Skate, featuring guest skaters and members of the Delaware County Skating club, will be held on Sunday, December 15th from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Skatium. The admission fee ($8 for adults, $5 for kids 10 years and younger) includes the 30 minute performance, the open skate immediately following the show, and skate rental.
