My next semi-annual constituent meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at 7 p.m. in the Quatrani Building (the Commissioners Meeting Room) located behind the Township Building at 2325 Darby Road in Havertown. This meeting is your opportunity to speak directly with Township officials and get answers to questions and concerns. Please mark the date on your calendar.

Haverford Township Day --
Saturday, October 5th
Haverford Township Day is Saturday, October 5th, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. As always, the festivities will kick off with a parade and culminate with lots of food, fun and festivities in the Brookline and Skatium areas. It's a great day for everyone to have a good time, see friends, and just experience why we all love to live in Haverford Township. Click here for more information.

Recycling Event --
Saturday, October 12
On Saturday, October 12, 2013, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Marple and Haverford Townships will host a "Recycling Event" at Malin Road and West Chester Pike in Broomall. This is another opportunity for residents to responsibly recycle obsolete electronics. The service is free (except for certain TVs and computer monitors) for all residents and for small businesses with fewer than 50 employees. Electronics will be recycled by eForce Compliance, which will wipe/erase/destroy all data from all electronic media.
All electronic devices with a plug will be accepted, except for smoke detectors and large appliances. Glass tube TVs and glass computer monitors will be accepted at a cost of $20 per item. Projection TVs will also be accepted at a cost of $50 per item.
