YMCA Job Fair - Saturday, August 24th
 The Haverford Area YMCA will hold a Job Fair on Saturday, August 24, 2013 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Nolan Painting, 181 W. Hillcrest Avenue, Havertown (across the street from the new YMCA). If you are interested in working at the YMCA, please attend the Job Fair (I don't have additional information).

Leaf Collection Schedule
Week of October 28th Wards 1, 2 & 3
Week of November 4th Wards 4 & 5
Week of November 11th Wards 6, 7 & 8
Week of November 18th Ward 9 & State Highways
Week of November 25th Wards 1 & 2
Week of December 2nd Wards 3, 4 & 5
Week of December 9th Wards 6 & 7

This schedule is subject to change because of inclement weather.
Signs will be posted the week before the pickup to give you ample time to have your leaves at curbside.
Leaves must be ready for pickup on the first day of the week listed for your area.
Residents are reminded to place leaves at the curbside and not in the street.
Violations will be treated as a public nuisance and will subject the property owner to a maximum fine of $1,000.00.
Leaves placed in the street cause stormwater inlets to be blocked, can be ignited by cars with hot engines and become slippery when wet.
Leaves may not be placed at curbside after leaf pick-up.
If you use a lawn service to remove leaves and miss your scheduled pick-up, the lawn service must haul leaves away to a proper dumpsite.

 Next Constituent Meeting --
Wednesday, October 2nd at 7 p.m.
My next semi-annual constituent meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at 7 p.m. in the Quatrani Building (the Commissioners Meeting Room) located behind the Township Building at 2325 Darby Road in Havertown. This meeting is your opportunity to speak directly with Township officials and get answers to questions and concerns. Please mark the date on your calendar.

Healthcare Law Presentation --
Wednesday, September 11, 2013, 6:30 p.m.
The Pennsylvania Health Access Network (PHAN) will present a program, "The New Health Care Law," on Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at 6:30 p.m. in the Community Room of the Haverford Township Free Library at 1601 Darby Road in Havertown.
