Missionary Renewal in Springfield, Missouri gave me the opportunity to renew friendships from days long ago.

When God called me out of my teaching career in 1988 at George Washington University in Washington, D.C., he sent me to Trinity Bible College to study Biblical Studies and Missions.

Little did I know at the time that I would also be part of the faculty teaching English while preparing myself for the mission field. It was actually at Trinity in the chapel during a week of prayer and fasting led by Dick Eastman that God directed me to France.

The Yacht Starship Dining Cruise was a delightful way to celebrate Independence Day 2015 in Tampa, Florida. I'm staying here with my brother Marty and sister-in-law Kathy as I visit pastors and churches in the area.

The July 4th evening began with a natural fireworks display all around us as lightening and thunder brought on stormy weather. Nothing was hampered though, as the dinner was scrumptious and the nighttime fireworks display was the best ever.
