"God shapes the world by prayer. The more praying there is in the world the better the world will be, the mightier the forces against evil.".

- E. M. Bounds

Thank you so much for praying for the events I listed in my last Communiqué. Truly God is constantly shaping what is occurring here in France through your prayers for me and my implication in the various ministries where He has placed me.

Now, here is the recap of all that occurred for the better as a result of your prayers!
North Texas Chi Alpha
Making an Impact in Paris

North Texas Chi Alpha Team
Brad and Chanda Jones, Blessing Wokocha, Jesus Alfredo Prado, Perla Perez, Busayo Akindona and Matt Hood.

What a joy to have had the North Texas Chi Alpha Team on mission with us in Paris! On two different days, between May 17 and 24, I had the privilege of taking them to Nanterre University - the first day, for a prayer walk, and the second day, to give out invitations at the University Metro station to The Bridge International Church.

On both occasions, we had lunch at the university and a few members of the team engaged some of the Nanterre University students in conversation about faith and a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Please pray for the Lord to call workers to Nanterre University, a key Paris university.

Why not check out opportunities to serve at Wide Open Missions.
SfC France Leaders' Weekend
Annual Meeting in Grenoble

From top left to bottom right: Lisa Russi and Joy Krajicek, Mark Good serving coffee, José Ruiz, Mark and Suzanne visiting Grenoble, on the university campus, Dalene and Emma Good at "Le Melting Potes" ministry center.

SfC France held our annual leaders' meeting this year in Grenoble from May 30 - June 1. José Ruiz from Toulouse and I, from Paris, were welcomed warmly by Mark and Dalene Good, and their ministry team. Lisa Russi and Joy Krajicek received me into their home for the weekend stay.

It was wonderful to debrief with one another on our past year of ministry. We were then so encouraged to share personal needs and pray for one another. We also dreamed together and projected for the year ahead.

We took some time to visit Grenoble and also have lunch with the entire ministry team, which includes Tim and Emily Oldenkamp.

I was honored to preach the Word in French to the Sunday evening group at "Le Melting Potes." We shared dinner afterwards and I had the blessing to counsel and pray.

Visit Remix to see what God is doing in Grenoble. I know that Mark and Dalene Good would appreciate your prayers for them and their entire team.
Pentecost Weekend in Luxembourg
Alexandre and Magali Hérault

From top right to the bottom: Suzanne in the Luxembourg countryside, Suzanne in front of the Luxembourg palace, Alexandre and Magali in Luxembourg City.

Alexandre and Magali are serving a pastoral internship for two churches in Luxembourg. I actually met Alexandre through Continental Theological Seminary in Belgium. I assisted him in editing his thesis. I met him and his wife, Magali, in Paris when they came to The Bridge International Church. They helped me minister to the University Students and Young Professionals.

It was a series of circumstances that enabled Alexandre to be a candidate for the position of pastoral intern for two sister churches in Luxembourg. I was asked to be one of his references since he had worked with me at The Bridge.

I had the privilege to minister in French the weekend of June 6 - 8, first to the youth group on Friday evening and then, to the congregation on Pentecost Sunday.

Please pray for Alexandre and Magali as they learn first hand how to pastor a church congregation. Pray for wisdom, discernment, balance of work and rest, and quality time together to pray for one another and just be together.

What a privilege to mentor and encourage this young couple as they launch out in the ministry!
Jesus.net Support Team Meeting
The Netherlands

From left to right: John Cass (USA), Jan-Willem Bosman (Dutch), Michael Foucault (Fr), Arjo de Vroome (Dutch), Simon Loeffel (Swiss), and David Nolent (Fr). Top left is a beautiful fountain in the middle of a traffic circle and to the right is a canal.

Michael Foucault, David Nolent and I traveled from Paris on the Thalys train to the Jesus.net Support Team Meeting held in the Netherlands from June 10-12.

Internet ministry can often be a man's world. I was the only woman at the meeting. :-) I am training another woman to take over some responsibilities I had.

This was the last gathering before the summer holidays and perhaps, my last meeting as a support team member. I have been asked to consider spearheading a more focused prayer network for the Jesus.net partners and groups.

Please pray for me and with me as I seek to do the Lord's will concerning the ministries in which I am involved.

Pray for the Jesus.net ministry network. This is a vital ministry on the Internet.
Vacation in Corsica
Fulfilling a Dream

As you know, I fractured my left foot back in January and one of the consequences was that I could not get together with my longtime friend, Berthe, who lives near Chambéry. We have known each other since my arrival in France and Berthe and I share the same birthday with 18 years difference. We usually celebrate our birthday in January and I get my winter break. Needless to say, that did not happen this year.

One of Berthe's dreams has always been to visit Corsica. Well, little did I know that I would play a part in making her dream come to pass. I met a young woman at church who works for a travel agency and she was being sent to Corsica to extend the agency's reach! Perfect timing to plan a summer vacation and fulfill Berthe's dream to boot!

Berthe joined me in Paris for our flight to Bastia, then we visited various sites during the last two weeks of June and returned to Paris via Ajaccio.

Here is a website to learn about Corsica: Visit Corsica
