Greetings!
Spring is slowly making its way to Paris! Today we had our first thunderstorm and it was a welcome sound. The month of March was more of winter, but now the jonquils and the forsythia are appearing. New life is breaking forth!
Enjoy! |

Every Sunday, we meet at the Novotel Hotel in Rueil Malmaison in the western suburbs of Paris. On any day throughout the week, several Life Groups meet for fellowship, prayer, and Bible study. If you are ever in Paris, come and visit us. Check out our website at thebridgeparis.com.

Evangel University Mission Team
 | On our prayer walk in Rueil Malmaison.
|
What a blessing to have a mission team of 10 from Evangel University with us in Paris from March 2-10! I was with them on prayers walks in Saint Germain-en-Laye and Rueil Malmaison. They got a good idea of what being a missionary in church planting is all about as they helped with loading and unloading the vehicles, setting up at the hotel, greeting, and meeting all the people. They took part in several Life Groups including the one for our University Student and Young Professionals. Thank you Evangel Team for coming to Paris!

Easter 2013

In France, three times of the year stand out - Re-entry in the fall, getting back to the regular work schedule after a long summer vacation break, Christmas and New Year, a time to gather together, and Easter - the celebration of spring and new life. We take advantage of these three times of year to reach out to the Paris area with special events to welcome them to our community at The Bridge. A lot of preparation always goes into each one of these events. We usually go to a local park for the events after our Easter service. This year, however, our Easter Celebration had to be held indoors due to winter-like weather. Even so, it was still a success. Many visitors joined us for the very first time. At least four people responded to the call to follow Jesus, and fellowship and fun was had by everyone, as you can see from the photo collages below.

Getaway to Mountain Air | | The Beaufortin. |
 | | Hauteluce. |
I took a break to the Savoie with my friend, Berthe, whom I have known since I came to France in 1995. Going up to the area called Beaufortin, we stayed in a vacation apartment in Les Pres, a small village near Hauteluce. Being in another area in the Alps and breathing in that fresh mountain air was rejuvenating. I got out to walk in the snow (we had about six feet of fresh snow) and even got some sun toward the end of our visit. We made daily excursions to see some nearby towns - Beaufort, Megève, Villard sur Doron, Les Saisies. One evening I went out ona lantern-lit tour of Hauteluce and attended a concert in the church. A great getaway! | Suzanne in Beaufort.
