June 24 2014

Keep your eyes peeled for KWMR out and about this summer. Board members, staff and volunteers will be heading out to events around Marin and would love to talk to you and meet new friends.
We have a spiffy new banner that includes the 92.3 FM frequency. Stop in and be sure to tell your friends about the new signal in the San Geronimo Valley. We are learning that the 10 watts off Mt. Barnabe does not reach every home well, especially in some of the nooks and crannies of the topography in Woodacre, but it's pretty good for most of the valley.

You can expect to see KWMR reps at the Point Reyes Farmers Market on alternate Saturdays, at the new farmstand in San Geronimo and at other local events. We look forward to meeting you!

This past Saturday, June 21 (the longest day of the year!) Lyons Filmer, Program Director and Jennifer McFarland, KWMR Board President attended the Mexican Arts Festival at the San Geronimo Valley Community Center. Gus Conde, KWMR programmer and Board Member did some storytelling. He has emceed this event several times.
