Audrey Carroll Audubon Sanctuary

More than 40 different species of butterflies have been observed at the Audrey Carroll Audubon Sanctuary.  Join us as we explore the Sanctuary looking for and learning about butterflies.  Take part in Monarch conservation as we tag Monarch butterflies for the Monarch Watch Program. These amazing creatures will fly 2,000 miles to over-winter in central Mexico.

People of all ages are welcome.  Meet at 9 a.m. at the entry gate to the sanctuary at 13030 Old Annapolis Road (just east of Detrick Road) in Mt. Airy.
