Signs of Spring Nature Walk

Saturday, March 16, 9 to 11 a.m.

Audrey Carroll Audubon Sanctuary

We will be looking for signs of spring, from swelling buds on trees to early spring migrant birds. Bluebirds will be laying claim to the nest boxes. If the winter weather has kept you indoors, make this your chance to get out for a walk through some meadows and forests.

People of all ages are welcome. Meet at 9 am at the entry gate to the sanctuary at 13030 Old Annapolis Road (just east of Detrick Road) in Mt. Airy. No rest room facilities are available, and the walk will be cancelled in the event of inclement weather. For further information contact Elaine Pardoe.

Audrey Carroll Audubon Sanctuary

Join us on April 27th for our Native Plant Sale Fundraiser. We have a wonderful selection of plants just waiting for you! After choosing some beautiful and beneficial plants with the help of our Master Gardeners, take a nature walk on our 130 acre sanctuary. Visit our website for more information and details about the sale.
Are you interested in the outdoors? Meeting new people? ASCM needs folks like you to keep our chapter going! We currently have board member positions open. Responsibilities vary depending on the position.
The Native Plant Sale is also a great way to get outdoors and spend time helping people get their gardens growing for springtime planting.

If any of these opportunities sound interesting to you, please contact us.

We would love to hear from you!
