The Cascade, Sacramento, North Coast and Central Coast area director seats, a service member director seat as well as the IAFE Zone 7 seat were up for re-election last month on the WFA Board of Directors. Here are the results so far: 

• The Cascade and Sacramento Areas are still conducting their elections.   
• North Coast Area: Napa Town & Country CEO Joe Anderson will serve another term.  
• Central Coast Area: Salinas Valley Fair CEO Sarah Cummings was elected.  
• Service Member Director: Rick Graves, Medical & Safety Management, will serve another term. 
• The IAFE Zone 7 seat will be elected at the IAFE Convention in December.

Submit your entries for the 51st annual Achievement Awards Program by November 15. Online registration makes entering a snap and Cal Poly Agribusiness students are available to assist in preparing your entries. New this year, fairs who didn't participate in last year's program will be reimbursed for entry fees thanks to several generous fairs. You must participate in the Achievement Awards Program to be eligible to receive the coveted Merrill Award.
