WFA Open House at the California State Fair
You're invited to participate during a day of WFA meetings.

Join us for a WFA Open House at the California State Fair on Thursday, July 18, from 5-7 p.m. in the Satellite Wagering Clubhouse. Mingle with fair executives from fairs throughout the West, WFA staff members and other industry professionals. Catch up with old friends and meet new members in a relaxed environment with food provided by Ovations. Your WFA credential will be accepted for parking and gate entry on July 18 when entering through Gate C, located just east of the main gate on Exposition Blvd.

Other Meetings of Interest

The WFA Mixer will be held Thursday, July 18, at 9 a.m. in the Cal Expo Board Room. In addition, the CFA Board of Directors will meet from 3-5 p.m. in the Board Room where they will discuss fair funding and the results of the Fair Funding Study Group. All members are welcome to attend both meetings.

The previously scheduled Strategic Leadership Workshop for directors to be held in conjunction with Cal Expo's Directors' Day has been rescheduled. Look for details about the fall workshop coming soon.

Refer a Friend and Win
Sign-up a new member now through September 1 and receive $50.

Western Fairs Association is kicking-off our annual membership drive with a bang! For every new member you sign-up between now and September 1, you will automatically receive a $50 check from WFA. Refer enough members and your 2014 membership could be FREE! Make sure your name appears on the Referred By line of the print or online membership application.

Now is an excellent time to join WFA. Since we are midway through the year, new members will receive 18 months of membership for the price of 12.

This limited time referral program is available to all WFA members in good standing. Checks for referrals from fairs will be made out to the fair. Checks for referrals from businesses will be made out to the business.

WFA Advertising

Get your business in front of those who matter, a highly targeted audience who needs your product or service.

Fair Dealer: Advertise for as little as $100! Must reserve your space for the fall Pre-Convention issue by August 15.

Membership Directory: Only a few spots remain in the 2014 Directory! First come, first served.

Member Renewals

Service member renewal notices were mailed on July 1. We encourage you to review the update form for accuracy and send it in with your member dues by October 1 (note earlier deadline).

To ensure your inclusion in the vitally important WFA

Date List and Membership Directory, you must return your update form and member dues by October 1. Or renew online and avoid the hassles of paperwork and mailing!
