The lesson today covers the book of Philemon, one of the shortest books of the Bible. It is a unique book because it is a very personal letter, written by Paul to Philemon, a dear friend and fellow believer. It is the only such letter in Scripture. Paul wrote this letter while in prison. Philemon lives in Colossae and is a wealthy man, strong in his faith and active in his fellowship.
