Paul writes about his concerns over false teachings that challenged the true nature and deity of Jesus Christ among the Colossians. He notes that God's word spoken in The Gospel to them has already proved itself through the love they are demonstrating for God's people. He assures them of his prayers and teaches them how to cooperate with this divine life that has begun in them.
