Paul shows patience but is disturbed because the faith of the young believers is not maturing and a divisive spirit is loose in the church. Christians must focus on Christ to understand God's will. Human wisdom is not sufficient. Growing spiritually requires that we look to Christ and Christ alone, not to others for our identity as believers.
