Paul is upset because certain conditions are being added to what is required to be a follower of Jesus. The Judaizers in Galatia are teaching circumcision is necessary. Paul warns this will be a return to being justified by keeping the law. He preaches salvation comes only through the cross - no additions, no alterations. The letter to the Galatians is a document of freedom.
