Thanks for your Generous Giving!
Dear Resurrection People,
We have just learned that out of nearly 10,000 ELCA congregations nationwide, Resurrection is #12 in overall giving to the ELCA Malaria Campaign, having given a total of $23,056.31 so far!
As the ELCA Malaria Campaign draws to a close, the commitment of Lutherans to stand with the people of Africa and Papua New Guinea continues!
We still have Malaria buttons and envelopes available in the narthex...so how about this coming Sunday you grab a button as a lasting remembrance, and bring an extra check to put in an ELCA Malaria Campaign envelope and place in the offering plate! Let's make one last push to help our sisters and brothers in Africa break free from the tyranny of malaria! "
This work is making a life-saving difference in so many communities. Thank you for helping to make this possible!
Virginia Synod has given over $250,000 to the ELCA Malaria Campaign, and is now launching a new initiative to help bring this same life-saving malaria prevention to our sisters and brothers in Papua New Guinea, our companion synod in the western Pacific.
Let's stand together as Resurrection People to keep gifts designated for this campaign, in the effort to bring one more nation, one more region, one more village to health and prosperity by overcoming this preventable disease. Please consider making a recurring on-line donation for these children that our Heavenly Father loves like we love our very own!

Thank you!
