Dear Resurrection Family,
How about joining us on Sunday, October 5, for the 4th annual Lutheran Revival? Remember that we hosted this wonderful event in 2011 and 2012? This year it takes place at Our Saviour Lutheran in Warrenton. The address is 6194 Dumfries Road, Warrenton 20187. Please see the info below regarding the schedule, workshops, meal and worship. We are thrilled that Amy Burcher is one of the musicians for the worship service and we are also providing a Women's Choir. Kasey Worman is organizing our youth to attend and participate in one of the workshops suited for youth. Remember, there are workshops for all ages at 2:30 to 4:00. Others attending this special day come from other congregations in our Germanna Conference of the Virginia Synod, ELCA. The sponsoring congregations are: Resurrection; Christ, Fredericksburg; St. Peter, Stafford; St. Luke, Culpeper; and Our Saviour, Warrenton.
Please join us in Warrenton and help us have a good representation from Resurrection. It would be helpful to have you sign up on the sheet on the narthex bulletin board or let us know in the church office. That way we can let the folks at Our Saviour prepare the right amount of food for our meal.
In Christ's love,
Pastors Jim and Carol
