We All Are One in Mission: The Key to RLC's Future
| #10 |
We all are one in mission; we all are one in call, Our varied gifts united by Christ, the Lord of all. A single great commission compels us from above To plan ad work together that all may know Chris's love. We all are called for service, you witness in God's name. Our ministries are different; our purpose is the same: To touch the lives of others with God's surprising grace, So every folk and nation may feel God's warm embrace. At a recent worship service we sang with enthusiasm and joy the Hymn of the Day, "We All Are One in Mission." The words of this hymn hold great meaning for our lives as we work together as the "Body of Christ" in mission and ministry. In this anniversary year, it is good that each of us pauses and considers how we will contribute to Christ's ministry in this church. So, what are your gifts? What is your ministry? What is your service? What is your mission? How can you join with others that all may know Christ's love? There are many opportunities for us to use our gifts as members of this Resurrection family as we do God's work with our hands, minds, and talents. Use this anniversary year to help Resurrection move forward in ministry with your gifts and inspiration. Now let us be united, and let our song be heard. Now let us be a vessel or God's redeeming Word. We all are one in mission; we all are one in all, Our varied gifts united by Chist the Lord of all. Amen "We All Are One in Mission," WOV #755
