A Message from our Malaria Team...
Malaria Sunday Is April 27
World Malaria Day is April 25, and Malaria Sunday is April 27. ELCA members across the United States and millions of people around the world will observe these special days in a variety of ways. You can join in!
- Make a gift to the Malaria Campaign, using the envelopes provided at RLC.
- Pray for the work of the ELCA Malaria Campaign, our 13 global partners in Africa, and those who suffer from this disease.
In 2010, the ELCA pledged to raise $15 million by 2015 in an effort to help make malaria history. In just three years, the ELCA Malaria Campaign has raised more than $10 million! That money is already at work in Africa, providing the necessary resources for life-saving medical care, malaria prevention, and malaria education. Our efforts are making a difference, but there is still more to do. Visit www.ELCA.org/malaria or our Virginia Synod site www.Team2017.org to learn more or to give on-line.
Let's stand together as Resurrection People to keep gifts designated when we can for this campaign, in the effort to bring one more nation, one more region, one more village to health and prosperity by overcoming this preventable disease. Please put a check in the offering plate for these children that our Heavenly Father loves like we love our very own.
