We hope all are having a most Blessed Christmas season!
We are officially on Christmas break, and will resume confirmation classes on Sunday January 13th. Eric will be hanging out in the library on January 6th from 9:45 AM to 10:45 AM, so if anyone would just like to come by and talk about stuff, that would be great.
Christmas (also known as Christmastide) is indeed a season -- there are 12 days of Christmas -- starting with the Nativity of our Lord and ending with the Epiphany of our Lord on January 6th. This year, Epiphany happens to fall on Sunday.
During Christmas break, everyone should read the 1st and 2nd chapters of the Gospel according to Luke. It's a great read! Learn all about Elizabeth and Zechariah and little baby John the Baptizer. Learn about Mary and Joseph and little baby Jesus. Learn about angels and shepherds. Learn about Simeon; learn about Anna. Learn a little about John and Jesus growing up to be teenagers. All in about 5 pages!
See you all on January 13th as we resume our regular confirmation schedule!
Remember our schedule and curriculum can be found on-line on the RLC Resources page.
