New Walk In Pick-Up System Starts Today!

Please follow posted signage for easier understanding of the system change.
All Families will enter the front door, please form one single fuel line against the k-2 side of the building. Only 10 visitors will be allowed inside due to fire code. Those families with Valet cards will enter the next line when prompted and will have their learner retrieved. Families without a Valet card will need ID and will be routed to the correct line to receive a card.
The front office WILL NOT be open as staff will be assisting with Valet. Please arrive early or wait outside to be assisted with any questions. Remember, calling and email is always best when requiring information. Also, we strongly encourage use of our exterior Valet system, always.

Ball Bash Fundraiser: A huge "thank you" to all of the families who donated to our fundraiser! We have decided to continue with this event until our need is fulfilled. Please share this (link to be sent asap) with your friends, family, and colleagues so our cause is spread like wildfire.

Family Movie: Night Under the Stars

 Please join us 6:30 p.m. September 30 for a FREE family movie night under the stars! Middle school will be assisting with box car creation for the younger learners, high school will be facilitating a snack bar (fee), and we will be presenting a great family movie "drive-in" style -- without the real cars -- at sundown. Please enter through the pedestrian gates near the side parking lots. Bring chairs, blankets and snacks if you wish and enjoy a beautiful night under the stars with your iLEAD community! Movie to be announced next week!

 9/26-28 - Winter Production Theater Auditions: Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house, not a creature was stirring, not even a..." Wait a minute! What's going on here? Mom's running pass plays in the kitchen, Sis is doing her best Martha Stewart imitation, dad and the uncles are taking root in front of the TV, and the kids are...hmmm?
Take a light-hearted look at Christmas in the typical American household, with clever two-part songs, and hilarious antics. Learners will need to prepare a short Disney song with a cd or iPod to show us what they can sing.
Rehearsals are Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m., upstairs.

iSUPPORT Parent Group -- LAST WEEK TO VOTE!

Do you have a new idea for events, outreach, or fundraising? Want a larger volunteer role? Our iSupport parent group meets twice a month. We discuss events, fundraising and, new this year, our members will have the opportunity to booth at community events.
"But...I can't attend meetings!" No problem, you can call via UBER conference or listen to the meeting after the fact to stay updated.

Save the Date: Oct. 2, the iLEAD Amazing Race!

 Start building your team now for this fun-for-the-whole-family event on Sunday, October 2, as we follow clues and take photos in front of Los Angeles landmarks all accessible via Los Angeles subway. Have fun with the whole family as you challenge your friends and see who can make it to Los Angeles area Land Marks first. Only $5 for each participant. Fabulous prize for first place, and a guaranteed great time for all!
This event is open to iLEAD families at all our studios, schools and learning centers, it's a great way to get to know other iLEAD families!

We would like to remind our families and visitors to please be very mindful when choosing where to park when visiting our campus for any reason. If you need to drop off your learner and valet is over, please park and walk your learner in. Learners without a parent cannot be properly checked in late.
Please do not double park in front of the school, ever, and when using valet always pull as far to the right as possible when waiting to enter the driveway.
Please remember that our neighbors are very supportive of our site -- despite the impact we have on their daily operations -- and that all of our neighbors love iLEAD. Let's show them the same support by parking in iLEAD parking lots ONLY as well as not blocking driveways and always yielding to our neighbors when using valet.
If you need clarification as to where to park please ask ANY iLEAD employee. PLEASE REMEMBER THAT TURNING LEFT INTO THE VALET ENTRANCE AND OUT OF THE EXIT IS A HAZARD TO BOTH YOUR VEHICLE AND OUR LEARNERS. IT IS ALSO A TRAFFIC PATTERN DISRUPTION.
If you cannot accommodate these traffic suggestions local law enforcement will be ticketing any vehicle impeding traffic. They have notified us of their awareness of our traffic problem. We thank you for your support in creating a win-win as we begin the year. Thank you!

ZUMBA AT iLEAD! Help our school, have fun, and shape up!
 I'm sure you've heard of the dance exercise craze called Zumba. It is a way to exercise in disguise while enjoying world rhythms and dance moves like Salsa, Merengue, Cumbia, Reggaeton, and more! It's a fun hour of a heart-pounding workout that is for all levels of fitness (and coordination). "I can't dance" does not apply! Everyone can enjoy Zumba! The good news is you can now enjoy it in the village at iLEAD on Tuesdays at 6 p.m. (unless there is an event scheduled for that space).
The even BETTER news that it will be offered as a weekly fundraiser for our school's needs. Second-grade facilitator Margaret Wassner is a certified Zumba instructor and is looking forward to Zumba-ing with the fabulous iLEAD community. We will have FANCY FEET FOR FUNDS, we will CUMBIA FOR CASH, DANCE FOR DINERO, SALSA FOR CENTS, and MERENGUE FOR MOOLAH.
Admission is donation based, with a minimum suggested donation of $5 per class. This next week's Zumba class donation will be for our school's P.E. equipment. Dress for a sporty good time. This is for adults only and unfortunately we are unable to provide childcare at this time. Come join the party, help the school, and get healthy.
