Message from the Directors

Thank you all for attending our Back to School Night events and our Parent University last week! What an amazing and busy week it was! For those of you who did not attend, our Parent University series is being recorded and we hope to be hosting the videos online soon so you all have access to them.

This week is the launch of Scarlet Foundation's Annual Giving Campaign. We are very appreciative of all donations made to Scarlet and the support we have received. These donations are tax deductible and all go to better our studios.

Lastly, we are still looking for a "crew" to do a movie for this challenge

We know many of you are in production/post production and we would love some help with this project. If you can donate your time and equipment please email Chris.Jackson@ileadencino.org

Brunch Brings iLEAD Parents Together
Our inaugural Welcome Back Brunch at Firefly in Studio City brought new and returning families together for great food, drinks, and conversation. The weather was beautiful, the food was delicious, and the location was fantastic. The team at Firefly took great care of us!

We'd like to thank all of the iLEAD Encino family members who came out to support another great community event. We were able to raise $1,750 thanks to our families and Firefly! We are excited to put these funds to good use. Please join us at the Scarlet Community meeting on September 14 to find out what types of programs are in the pipeline for this year and how your participation will make a difference.

Pizza Friday is now online!

One day a week you don't have to make lunch for your kids!  Scarlet can help! Purchase your individual Fresh Bros. Pizza (Deep Dish or Gluten Free) or Meatball Slider. Your kids will thank you!

5th & 6th grade ASTROCAMP!

Our 5th and 6th grade will be traveling together to ASTROCAMP! The overnight is scheduled Nov 4-5. The overnight Field Study trip incorporates the 5th and 6th grade science curriculum into an exciting, adventure-packed journey!

ASTROCAMP is a unique outdoor science program available to the learners of our school. Specializing in astronomy and the physical sciences, ASTROCAMP meets the increasing demand for up-to-date education on these rapidly advancing fields of science.

Where better to learn about the universe than under a clear night sky in the mountains! Classes include lights and lasers, rocketry, electricity and magnetism, and a sophisticated observational astronomy evening program, among many others. ASTROCAMP also has a large pool for microgravity classes and high ropes course for team building. The entire ASTROCAMP experience is designed to awaken and sharpen student interest in the scientific study of the universe as well as build self-esteem and problem solving skills through safe challenge activities.

Pali Institute offers a customized program to suit our school's requirements, providing around-the-clock supervision and instruction, allowing teachers to relax, observe and engage with their students in educational activities.

What makes the Pali Institute experience unique is the ability for our school to choose classes that best fit our learners' current curriculum. Through our intensively developed program and qualified Outdoor Education staff, your child will gain independence, learn about the world around them and have a fun and memorable camp experience.
