BACK-TO-SCHOOL NIGHT SCHEDULE CHANGES
| |
One More Important Announcement Regarding Scheduled Events for This Week!
As you may know, our "Back-to-School Night" for all NoHo families was scheduled to take place this coming Wednesday evening, September 7. However, we've made the decision to POSTPONE "Back-To-School Night" for two weeks until 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, September 21, mostly because we still have new enrollees arriving nearly every day, thus many of our course scheduling tasks are still in motion.
HOWEVER, the mandatory (which means "IMPORTANT, DON'T MISS IT!") evening for all 12th graders AND their folks -- that's "All About the Class of '17" -- is still happening 7 p.m. this coming Wednesday evening, September 7, in NoHo's Studio. This meeting is for any senior who is planning to apply to four-year colleges this fall, which are indeed most '17'ers.
NoHo's vital college applications instructions, policies and procedures will be presented by Anne, as well as some very basic information about year-end seniors' events (graduation, grad night, Prom). If all goes well, there will be ample time for questions to be answered at the presentation's conclusion.
Again, ALL SENIORS AND AT LEAST ONE PARENT/GUARDIAN should attend. Anne will do her very best to end the program at 8:30 p.m. -- it's extremely packed with key information. However, audience members' questions tend to make it run longer.

MUSIC PROGRAM SEEKS INTRUMENT DONATIONS
|
|
Our Music Program Needs Donations of Instruments.
Would Be Much Obliged!
The NoHo studio/classroom needs acoustic guitars and electric basses.
Also, an extremely worthy music learner in our NoHo program needs a set of drums. Each fall, facilitator Chuck Cochran extends a long-term loan of a drum set to a chosen learner who shows promise and desire, and who uses it to practice at home. Last year one set was loaned out, and now that same learner has become a more skilled and experienced drummer... and he's passing along that set to someone else. Now we need a second set in order to help yet another enthusiastic learner!
