$50,000 Awarded for Fresh Food Access Programs
The focus on our Fresh Food Access Programs at Glow Gala 2015 this year highlighted our increasing commitment to fresh food access for all. In recognition of that work, we are pleased to announce that we have received significant support from the Harvard Pilgrim HealthCare Foundation with a $50,000 grant for our Fresh Food Access Programs. This support will help us to increase community participation and use of subsidy/incentive tools at our farmers markets and our  Share-a-Share Program™,continue to enhance Green Team's work at the Costello Urban Farm and  allow further expansion of a series of culturally relevant educational workshops on gardening, cooking/nutrition, shopping on a budget and food preservation.
