Paula Maccabee on Sulfide Mining

Join us in shul to learn about the issues surrounding sulfide mining in Minnesota from Beth Jacob's own Paula Maccabee,
Advocacy Director and Legal Counsel for WaterLegacy. For much of her three-decade legal career, Maccabee has focused on environmental issues, but not without a few detours. After getting her JD at Yale, Maccabee put in a couple of years as an associate at Robins Kaplan, where she second chaired depositions for the firm's successful Dalkon Shield class action suit and learned that she had a limited appetite for grueling 90-hour work weeks. Following a stint as an assistant attorney general (she worked on law and policy issues related to sexual violence under Norm Coleman) she served on the St. Paul City Council.

MinyanMorning
Minyan

Weekdays at 7:15 am
7 am on Rosh Chodesh

Beth Jacob has a minyan people can count on; can minyan count on you?

Be a part of the morning minyan at Beth Jacob - start your day off right! Sometimes you'll be the 10th that makes the minyan; other times you'll simply get a good start to your day with others who like to feel part of a community.

As people travel in the summer, sometimes a little extra help is needed to make sure we have a minyan. Pick one day a week as "your day", or come every day!
