Tomorrow Morning, May 18
 A day of celebration of all our learners over this past year, children through adults. We will be celebrating and honoring all our programs including:
- Our Minyan Katan families
- Shabbat Enrichment children and their parents
- Students attending TTSP, HMJDS
- Kadima and USYers
- Midrasha students
Also celebrating and honoring all our adults who have participated in programs such as:
- Jew in the Pew
- Bracha & Bagels
- Parasha Hashavua
- Shabbat Afternoon Special Events
- U of M classes in Judaics
- Any venue of Jewish Study from this past year.
We will also have a special acknowledgement of our Graduating High School Seniors and in particular our TTSP Midrasha Graduates. For Shabbat Enrichment and their parents, an additional ceremony exploring the Torah together will take place.
Special guest that morning: story teller Carla Vogel. Services begin as usual at 9:00 AM with our special celebration to begin at the Torah service.

 The Cinema Chavurah's next movie will be the Regional Premiere of Hava Nagila (The Movie), a documentary romp through the history, mystery and meaning of the song that might be one of the world's best-known pieces of music. Q & A with director Roberta Goodman, and live music by Eisner's Klezmorim. Rabbi Jane Kanarek
Storybook or Legal Code?
The Rabbis Read the Book of Genesis
Jane Kanarek is Assistant Professor of Rabbinics and Associate Dean of Academic Development and Advising at the Rabbinical School of Hebrew College. She received her rabbinic ordination from the Jewish Theological Seminary and her Ph.D. from the University of Chicago. Dr. Kanarek is a member of the Committee on Jewish Law and Standards and is a contributor to The Observant Life: The Wisdom of Conservative Judaism for Conservative Jews. She was the head of the Kollel and Beit Midrash at Ramah Wisconsin, an intensive Talmud program for college-age students and campers.

On Shabbat after Kiddush: Mourning and Meaning: Jacob's Death and the Origins of Shivah

K'tanim go to the Science Museum!
Sunday, June 2, 10:15 am
Kids 0-5 and their parents (older siblings welcome!)
Led by Laurie Fink (who when it isn't shabbes morning is the Director of Science Programs at the Science Museum of Minnesota) parents will explore and discuss the Wonder Years exhibit while kids explore outside with a preschool science learning specialist. We'll all have lunch together on the lawn. Bring a picnic lunch for your family (or plan to grab something from the cafeteria) and your Science Museum membership card if you have one! We'll cover admission.

 The Greater St. Paul Jewish community is conducting a Community Planning Process to understand and address our community's needs over the next 10 to 20 years. Between May and June, we are conducting Listening Sessions throughout the community to learn about what you value in our community and your concerns. Dakota Sites Tour
This Sunday, May 19 at 10:00 a.m.
Meet at the shul and we will form car pools to drive to some local sites that are of historic importance to our Native American brethren. We will be guided by a member of the Dakota or another tribe.
Bring a snack and some water, if you think you need it. The tour will take about 3 hours.
Sites will include Pilot Knob, Coldwater Creek, and Fort Snelling.
