Halloween Family Day-Sunday Oct 26

Families can kick off their Halloween celebrations with a spooktacular array of free hands-on activities and free admission for kids 12 and under with paid adult at the annual Balboa Park Halloween Family Day on Sunday, October 26. Over two dozen participating museums and cultural attractions throughout the Park will present creepy craft projects, scary gallery tours, spine-tingling storytelling, costume parades and contests, and other fun surprises from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Our Annual Awards Luncheon October 21st is less than three weeks away and we encourage your support. Be sure to RSVP by our deadline October 13.

October is Kids FREE month at the Zoo, and we hope you'll take your kids and grandkids for a visit. Our friends in the Park really turn out for Halloween Family Day in the Park - save the date.

As always, there are fabulous exhibits and lots of activity as we all prepare for the year-long Centennial Celebration. There is a lot to look forward to and we invite your participation.

We have three great events coming up - all of which involve volunteers. We invite you to participate, whether it's "digging", arranging flowers inside hanging baskets, assisting us w/ setup and cleanup, or staffing our information booth at December Nights. No prior experience necessary.
