The year is in full swing at Messiah School AND at Messiah Church! We're growing minds, hearts, and spirits here, and we invite you to grow spiritually as a family. If you are looking for a church home, remember that you're invited to join us for worship, Sunday School, and activities at Messiah Lutheran Church. We consider all of our school families part of our church family as well. Read below for more ways to connect.

Food Drive Continues
|  Messiah Church and School continues our food drive this week. We've filled 5 grocery carts so far! Pick up a bag in the atrium, and help us stock the Fairview Hunger Center with non-perishables and hygiene items. Thank you for your help! |
Classes, Groups, and Membership at Messiah
| New Member Classes beginning Wednesday, Sept. 16, 7 p.m.
This 6-week course is for prospective members, for people who simply want to learn what Lutherans are all about, or those who'd like to take a fresh look at the essential nuts and bolts of the Christian faith. Interested, or know someone else who might be? Please call or email the church office (440) 331-2405 or church@messiahfp.org.
This is a two-year, once weekly walk through the Bible is offered on Wednesday evenings. Can't commit to two years? Consider joining for one or more of the 10 week sessions. More info on the church website. |

FACTS Billing for Lunch and Before/After Care
| This year, in order to be good stewards of our resources, and to help our families prevent falling behind on lunch and before/after care fees, we are requiring a deposit account for lunch and before/after care. Students will still sign for lunches and beverages, and those fees will be debited from your account. You will still receive notice of those debits. Add funds to your child's lunch account by logging in to FACTS, scrolling below "Payment Plan & Billing" to "Deposits." Select "Add Funds" by clicking on the green button, circled in the screen snip below.

Free Shredding Event

Messiah Church and School will host a shredding truck on Sunday, Sept. 20 from 9 a.m. to noon. Clean out your home files, and bring your old papers up to be shredded!

Messiah Lutheran School
Cruise back to school at Messiah's dance! All Lutheran School 7th and 8th graders are welcome at the first dance of the school year. $5 admission at the door; casual cruise attire (no short shorts, camis, bare midriffs, or swimwear).

Volleyball
| Come cheer on the Messiah Blazer girls volleyball team on Friday, Sept. 18 at Bethany Lutheran in Parma (6041 Ridge Road, Parma). The Blazers take on Bethany at 5:30 and Westside Christian at 6:20. Gooooooo Blazers!!!!
