Rory McIlroy to Caddy For A Cure at The Barclays
We have been waiting for years for something like this to come along. We watched with amazement as Rory blitzed the field in the US Open at Congressional. He annihilated the field at the PGA Championship at Kiawah Island. And, he has captured the eyes of the golf world as a truly exceptional sensation with the sky as the limit with what he may accomplish in a long career ahead.
So how do these experiences come to happen? We sure like to think that there is something incredibly powerful working "behind the scenes" that fits all these pieces together. We were at The Players, celebrating our military with a great home giveaway through Birdies for the Brave. We had seen Rory going down the 16th hole, and we were disappointed as we thought we may miss him with a chance to introduce him to our National Spokesperson - Christian Collins.
As it turned out, the home giveaway lasted a long time, longer than we had hoped, and we really thought we had missed a chance to meet Rory. We walked down 18 on the way back to the clubhouse and there was a crowd by the green. It was Rory! The timing was better than perfect, and Rory saw Christian and immediately came over and introduced himself.
Rory had some press to do, but asked to meet on the range later, which we did. He could not have been nicer or more accommodating once again with our Spokesperson. He accepted one of his SHARPIE custom pens, as well as took Christian's card, and committed to Caddy For A Cure for The Barclays.
We found that this young man, mature well beyond his years, follows in the same footsteps as some of our most popular Irish players through the years. We often say that if you want a great experience, spend a day with Padraig Harrington or Graeme McDowell. There must be something in that Irish water that turns out some great golfers, but even more importantly, some incredibly humble friends to charity.

Father's Day Opportunity
So you have a golfer in your life that has everything...what to get him for Father's Day? Could we humbly suggest you do as many others in the past have done - get them a Caddy For A Cure experience. Even better, do it with him and make it something both of you will never forget!
It is really one of our favorite times when a family gets one of these amazing experiences for Dad, or Grandfather, and then they all come out and watch or even possibly go and help. To see a Father / Son or Father / Daughter is simply over the top awesome in so many ways, we cannot articulate them all.
Don't see a player available for your special Dad? Write us HERE, or give us a call at 954-341-4600. We would be more than pleased to try to make the experience you would like happen, and at the venue you would like to go to.
We can provide a nice package for you to wrap and give on Father's Day, and trust us, it will be a gift he will enjoy for decades.

The "Big Easy" in the "Big Easy"
Ernie Els is one of those players and men that comes along only once in a great while. We all marvel at his golf swing - smooth, easy, powerful. His (3) Major Championships, on top of a wealth of other victories, really stand alone in a Hall of Fame career. But we know, as do some new fans, that Ernie is one heck of a great guy who cares about others.
Some tornadoes in Nawlins could not keep us from having a better than great day with Ernie. One touched down just miles away from the TPC Louisiana and turned a truck over. No worries, though, as we just hung out in the locker room with the likes of Bubba Watson, Teddy Scott, and the cast from "Duck Dynasty!" We waited out the bad stuff and sure enough, the sky cleared for some golf. John Redmond learned of our program last year and caddy'd for Lee Westwood in Charlotte at the Wells Fargo Championship. The oil executive now has "caddying" in his blood, and wants to come back for more, and more! On this occasion, he brought his good buddy Charles Shaw to share the duties, and what a job they did! Laughing and working with Ernie hand in hand, it was a sight to behold and an experience to remember! As most know, Ernie has a child with Autism, and his "Els for Autism" charity is one of the finest of its kind in the world. We were thrilled with John's support and look forward to assisting Ernie and his cause. What a great deal helping something this worthwhile, while at the same time having such an unforgettable time. Ok, so there was a temporary "hiccup." Sorry John, but we get to tell the world that the putter cover was "lost" for a few moments as we scrambled to find it. This only happened one time before - to Jack Nicklaus and his "caddy," and we hope it never happens again. Everyone was all smiles when a grounds crew member found it and caught up with us. The best part is pulling John's leg on this, as well as instituting the mandatory $50 fine for dropping the cover. :) There you are, with one of your life's best friends, standing with one of the greatest players in the history of the game, while you make a difference to those less fortunate. Could there possibly be a better moment in golf for the avid fan? Thanks to Ernie Els, awesome caddy and friend Colin Byrne, and the Zurich Classic for a great time and hospitality in less than stellar weather conditions. Special thanks to John and Denise Redmond, as well as Charles and Jeanine Shaw for their immense efforts to come "caddy for a cure!"

Greetings!
I won't ever forget that day many years ago now in San Antonio for the Texas Valero Open. There we were, practicing away (Bernhard Langer and myself) when the TOUR officials walked several young wounded warriors down the range to have them say hello to everyone and to watch their golf 'heroes.'
It was a chilling site to say the least seeing these young, strong men each missing legs. I was stunned with the realization that these men would be like this for the rest of their life here. Overwhelmed with the very thought that these young men did this to protect me, and our country, I knew we wanted to help.
I had the idea that on occasion, we could include a wounded warrior, and have them "escort" our "caddies" to let them see the sport from inside the ropes. What an idea, and what a wonderful thing it has turned out to be for everyone involved. By giving these warriors the opportunity to enjoy professional golf up close and personal, we have found a form of gratitude, respect and therapy for these brave men and women as they adapt to their post-service lives.
Many of these warriors have become some of our dearest friends. We believe that everyone who has caddy'd has had a phenomenal time. The players love it, the TOUR is obviously extremely supportive of the military with Birdies for the Brave, and the "caddies" themselves love it.
Support your troops, come Caddy For A Cure and make a memory for one of these brave warriors.
