Like the children from San Isidro in the photo above, we're thrilled to welcome a new year of learning, opportunity, and joy! Our sincerest thanks to all who donated at the end of 2013. Your contributions help ensure that Fabretto can continue offering quality education and nutrition programs and support children and families throughout Nicaragua. We invite you to stay connected with Fabretto this year by checking our website, especially the News page blog, and following us on social media. Here's looking forward to a wonderful 2014!

Celebrating Lives of Service: Fabretto Leaders
This year, Fabretto will be celebrating lives of service and honoring those who have given back in Nicaragua and beyond. We're kicking off 2014 by recognizing the service of several key Fabretto leaders.
Fabretto is pleased to announce Bill Glastris as the new Chairman of the Board. Bill has served on Fabretto's board since 2011. Please join us in welcoming him to this new role!
Many thanks to outgoing Chair Lynn Magnum for his outstanding leadership. Under his guidance, Fabretto's work on the ground and international outreach efforts have grown tremendously. Fabretto also honors the contributions of longtime leader and former Ex. Director of Fabretto Spain Patricia Aragonés. Her vision and dedication to our mission greatly expanded Fabretto's reach by developing a strong presence in Europe. Patricia will continue to serve as President of the Board in Spain and the UK.
Thank you for your service to the children of Nicaragua!

Shoes for All - A Huge Success!
Each year, the Child Sponsorship team invites sponsors to give a holiday gift that truly makes a difference in the lives of their sponsored children. This year, the gift responded to a community need - something that can mean the difference between attending school and dropping out and have a huge impact on a child's life: SHOES!We were so humbled and excited by the outpouring of support from sponsors for the Shoes for All holiday gift campaign. As of January 8, 261 pairs of shoes had been donated! Children will receive the sturdy pair of shoes when they return to school and use them to walk through their communities, often on rough dirt roads, during the school year - an incredibly meaningful and useful gift. THANK YOU to all of the generous donors who gave shoes to their sponsored children and classmates. If you would like to support the campaign (whether you sponsor a child or not), there's still time to give shoes - the campaign will close on January 15. Click here to give shoes today!
