Pet Tip: Keeping Dogs Cool

We're deep into the dog days of summer, which, coincidentally, can be hard on our canine companions. To help you and your dogs get through the season's most sultry days in safety, Sandi Sawchuk, primary care veterinarian at UW Veterinary Care, has put together a short list of tips.

As always, our Emergency and Critical Care Service is available 24/7 at 1-800-386-8684.

Open Clinical Study

Our Neurology Service is looking for cats diagnosed with seizures that are scheduled to receive or are receiving phenobarbital therapy. The objective of the study is to compare the therapeutic concentration and tolerability of transdermal versus oral phenobarbital in epileptic cats.
