Rate Changes in Level II Background Screenings - Increased Requirements

Due to changes in requirements for level II background screenings for DCF contracted entities (child care providers, summer camps, etc.), FDLE has changed the rate they charge livescan vendors, such as the Glades Initiative, to process level II background screenings.  In addition, now that DCF is using the clearinghouse for their screenings, photos are required with the screens - which adds to the amount of processing for the livescan vendor.  Our revised fee schedule for Level II Background Screenings is as follows:

 2015 Rates

Member Rates

Non-Member Rates

    DCF Child Care w/photo

    DCF Summer Camp w/photo

    ACHA/Dept. of Health w/photo

    VECHS Nonprofit Agency Employee

    VECHS Nonprofit Agency Volunteer

    Dept. of Education/Teaching Certificate

    Dept. of Health/Healthcare Certificate w/photo

    All others, standard rate

To schedule background screenings with the Glades Initiative, contact Sandy Desty at 561-996-3310 or email sdesty@gladesinitaitive.org.  To set up an account with your agency to have your staff screened by the Glades Initiative, contact Carol Rodriguez at the number above or email her at crodriguez@gladesinitiative.org.
