Grant writing in this new economy, how has it changed? This is a two day interactive workshop on grant writing. This workshop teaches you what funders are looking for in a grant proposal, how to get selected and funded. During this workshop you will create a boiler plate document that you can use to apply to each grant no matter how tight the deadline. Any existing business owner/manager of a small business, aspiring entrepreneurs looking to start, grow or fund a business, any manager or executive director of a non-profit organization. Workshops take place in a fast paced wireless interactive environment. Participants must have average or above average computer skills.

The Let's Move Commit to Change Physical Activity Challenge is a month long campaign with a focus on physical activity, nutrition and healthy behaviors to motivate residents to take charge of their health to recognize the importance of exercise and nutrition to reduce obesity/diabetes. It's easy. Just complete 30 minutes of sustained physical activity and log-in your minutes. You can log-in every day or you can keep track of all of your activity in a personal log and log your minutes at your convenience. Please use the same e-mail address throughout the campaign when you log in. Your minutes will be added to the total community challenge numbers.

Sensory Integration Workshop for Pediatric Professionals
Join us for a dynamic, day-long workshop focused on understanding sensory integration issues in children! Presented by Dr. Pilar Saa, OTD, OT/. Sensory Integration: Implications for the Well-Being of Children and Their Families will focus on the theory of sensory integration and the impact of sensory issues on a child's life. Dr. Saa will go over the function and dysfunction continuum and participants will learn when to refer clients and specific strategies to use in order to promote the best performance, engagement, and participation from children.
