The Arc of The Glades can win big with your support!
The Arc of The Glades needs your help getting some needed funds for services and you don't need to donate a dime. There's a link at the bottom of this message where you can vote for The Arc. Please vote!! And, get your friends, your kids, your kids friends, even your kids' kids' friends (we're getting old) to vote. And don't forget yours and their Facebook friends.
The World Equestrian Center in Wellington puts on a wonderful Charity event that The Arc of the Glades has been fortunate enough to be selected to participate in for the second consecutive year. They received $11,500.00 in 2013 as part of the Great Charity Challenge.
Last year they didn't generate enough support in the on-line voting to get anything from the Fan Favorite voting part of the event. This year they again have the opportunity to share in a $50,000.00 prize that goes to the top vote-getters in the "Fan-Favorite" competition. Voting is through the link below. When you go to the page it will provide a list from which to choose your favorite. The Arc of The Glades is among those listed. After voting, it takes you to a results page. There you can see how your chosen agency is doing in the competition.
Voting is once per day per IP address, so you can vote on your various devices every day from now until the contest closes at the end of the day on February 1st. Our agency is in a community with astronomical unemployment and significant poverty. We serve adults with developmental disabilities in these communities but we can't raise much in charitable giving dollars because of the demographics. This is a chance for us to generate needed funds to support what we do.
