2014 Giraffe Awards - Call for Nominations

Nominations are now being accepted for the 2014 Giraffe Award, given by the Women's Chamber of Commerce of Palm Beach County. The Giraffe Award will be presented in March of 2014 during Women's History Month. These awards are given annually to honor women who have "Stuck Their Necks Out" by taking risks, applying initiative, dedication and perseverance, thereby making a difference for other women in the workplace and in the community.  Our goal is to gather nominations for the most qualified women in Palm Beach County.  As a recipient of this letter, you have a unique vantage point from which to identify and recommend these extraordinary women. If you know an outstanding woman whom you would like to see recognized for her leadership, please submit her name for nomination by completing the attached form.

Please think of all the women in your network and consider whom you would like to nominate. Please don't feel you have to stop at one nomination! We'll gladly accept all you submit for consideration. Nominations must be received no later than Wednesday, January 22, 2013 to the Women's Chamber of Commerce office listed on the form. Please feel free to contact us with any questions you might have. Thank you in advance for your help in identifying and honoring outstanding women in our community.
