Did You Know?
Interesting Festival Facts

The Festival Youth Area activities (7th Street) are provided by community organizations who serve kids. They plan a creative craft or activity and schedule their own volunteers. It's one of the most vibrant areas of the Festival and serves thousands of children each year.  As a thank you, each year the Festival chooses a piece of student artwork and produces it on a button given just to youth area volunteers.  This year's student artist is
Morgan Berard from Fidalgo Elementary School.
Cindy Morton

Volunteer of the Year
Many thanks for years of service . . .

Volunteer of the Year Cindy Morton has a long history with the Festival. She started out as a staff member and then moved into the role of booth artisan for 10 years (where she was one of our highest selling vendors with Cornelia's Garden products). She served as a Festival board member, and most recently as a volunteer extraordinaire in the Lunch Room, Wine Garden, Fine Art Show and office.   This year she will also be involved in a NEW Festival Fashion Show (stay tuned for more info) . . .

Won't you consider joining Cindy and our large group of volunteers for a few hours of fun community service? (it comes with a free t-shirt and other benefits)
