Greetings!

Happy New Year from all of us at the Magic Of Santa Craft Show!  
     Thank you everyone that helped make the show so nice!  We got many comments that it was a Great Show!  
     We were also able to collect 655 pounds of food for the Food Bank and Evelyn Mount between the 2 shows!  That equates to 545 meals.  Awesome!
     We changed the date for this years show to be a week later to hopefully not compete with the Nugget show and Black Friday - Dec. 5th and 6th.  This isn't set in stone at this point so please let me know if this isn't a good date.  Some vendors asked about being open Friday evening too.  I can probably arrange that (I will have to check with the Events Center) but everyone setting up Friday would need to participate (we wouldn't want unmanned booths).  I'm thinking maybe 3 hours - 5:00 to 8:00?
I hope you all have a Wonderful and Prosperous Year! 
  Feel free to email or call me any time.  I also appreciate any feedback good or bad that will help us put on a better show.
   I'll open the registration and contact everyone mid summer.  If you want to register earlier than that to secure your same space send me an email and I'll put you on a priority list.
Please let me know your feelings about being open Friday evening and how late you would like to stay open.  My contact info is as the bottom of this email.

The details:
The show is at the Livestock Events Center in the Exhibition Building. 1350 N. Wells Ave. in Reno. Just watch for the signs.
Saturday hours are 9 to 5 and Sunday 9 to 3.
Admission is just $4.00 (for the whole weekend) and we'll take $1.00 off if you bring food for the Northern Nevada Food Bank.

Give Aways:
One of the fun things about the show is the drawings.  Vendors donate their crafts and we will frequently draw a number and some lucky attendee will win one of the donated items.

Please spread the word through your Facebook pages and any other social media you use. 
If you use Craigslist Please place a Craigslist ad for some of your items and say they will be at the Magic of Santa show and list the address and times.
Please also 
print out some of the fliers 
listed below and place them in your local neighborhoods and at your workplaces.  Many grocery stores have bulletin boards where you can place them.

 

Help Spread The Word!

If you would like to help advertise the show we have created a flier with tear off tabs that you can print out and post on local bulletin boards or at your office. Many grocery stores etc. have places to post local events and every little bit helps get the word out. The more people that come the better everyone's sales will be!  

 

Please post a Craigslist Ad and put the Facebook link and webpage address in it.

It also helps to place ad's with photo's of some of the items you will have for sale at the show.  The more key words we get out there the more people will see the ads.

Places to Stay:
A few people have asked if there are places to stay close to the events center.  The Events Center has RV spaces available (see the bottom of the show application page) and  there are several motels close by and the casinos are close too. Kayak.com lists some close by ones. You can narrow the search in the location box:
   A friend of mine stays at the SandsRegency Hotel Casino when he visits. They usually have some good deals going. I did a quick check and found their deals page:  
Once he visited the first time they keep sending him free nights tickets.

   Days Inn is just a little further:
   Americas Best Travel Inn is right at the freeway exit too:
There is a 24 hour Denny's and a Carrows restaurant very close. (walking dist. from motels, right at the freeway exit)
