Westchester Airport Plaque Reveal
County Executive Rob Astorino and Business Council of Westchester CEO Marsha Gordon with Sean and Chris Murphy

Cooperstown may have its Baseball Hall of Fame but Westchester has its very own Business Hall of Fame. And a shiny new bronze plaque honoring past, present and future Business Hall of Fame honorees is now prominently on display at the Westchester County Airport. The new Business Hall of Fame plaque was unveiled at a special ceremony held June 18th at Westchester County Airport. Attending the ceremony were County Executive Robert P. Astorino, Business Council President and CEO Marsha Gordon and 13 members of the Hall of Fame including Sean & Chris Murphy who were  recently inducted at the Business Hall of Fame at the Awards Dinner in April. The plaque will be permanently installed in the departure lounge of the airport.

"Congratulations to the Hall of Fame inductees, past and present. These businesses deserve recognition not only for the boost they give to Westchester's economy, but for the support they give to our communities," said Astorino. Since its inception 12 years ago, the Business Hall of Fame has inducted 60 businesses in five major categories.  Murphy Brothers Contracting wishes to thank our clients past and present, subcontractors and suppliers, friends and family, and especially our terrific employees for giving us their unwavering support since 1979, as we continue to build a Tradition of Quality.
