Christmas Decorations Committee Meeting
The Sparta Christmas Decoration Committee is planning a meeting on October 14 at 5p at the Shops at the Senators House to discuss the purchase of 18 new Snowflake decorations for Main Street. (Similar to the one pictured above.)

The total cost of these decorations are about $7,000. $700 in seed money to be used toward the $1,000 down payment, has already been collected. If a $1,000 down payment can be made the rest can be paid in full in one year. They must be ordered by the third week in Oct., to arrive in time for decorating for this season.

Please consider meeting with this committee to help decide if the decorations should be ordered and how to pay for them.  Would the merchants consider purchasing one?  Would there be interested donors?  Let's brainstorm between now and the 14th and bring some payment ideas to the meeting!
