Changes on Main Street
There have been some changes to downtown in the last few days. Murphy's Mercantile, the store with all the scarves and gifts, and Centerview, the home accessories store, have switched places. Chrysty Murphy is in larger quarters at 18 South Main (the former Tea Pot Museum location) and Karen Steagall and Centerview are now at 6 South Main between Ofelia's Gifts and Studio Redwood in the former Northwestern Bank building.
And Backwoods Bean Coffee Shop has a new owner, Becca Babbitt. Selma is devoting her time to help with her and Rafa's Latin Friends Cafe in West Jefferson. Same great coffee and delicious baked goods.
Why not take a stroll down Main Street and check it out?
