Get computer savvy with the Computer Coach
No computer challenge is too big or too small for Susan McBride, the Computer Coach. McBride decided to turn her 33 years of experience working with computers and training teachers and students in the public schools into a second career. When her 80-plus-year-old mother asked for help in using her new computer, Susan realized that sometimes group instruction cannot meet everyone's needs; many people are afraid to ask questions and don't become comfortable with their computers without the one-on-one help a coach can provide. The Computer Coach was born -- training that brings that one-on-one contact to individuals and businesses. Susan travels to your home or business to provide personalized training on your personal computer, based on your needs.  She believes that people learn best when they have a need to know. So, the training focus is not on all the features of the computer and the software, but on what the client wants to accomplish with that computer and software. Does this sound like training that could bring you or your business the benefits and efficiencies offered by the PC?  The possibilities are endless and no question is too small! Congrats to SRC for Festival of Trees
We take our hats off to the Sparta Revitalization Committee and their very successful Festival of Trees in the stone building next to the Chamber. Some 75 volunteers worked to decorate two dozen trees and hang quilts around the building and staff the display. Hundreds came to see the trees. One family from Washington state signed their guestbook. Good job Johnnie Whitlow, project organizer. And a big thank you to Jorge Mon for providing the building and being so easy to work with.
