Over a two year period that began in 2010, as a community, we embarked on an unprecedented journey--a collaborative discovery process to define a new vision for Detroit's Future City.  

After hundreds of meetings, 30,000 conversations, connecting with people over 163,000 times, and receiving more than 70,000 surveyed responses and comments from participants--the Strategic Framework is complete.  

 
Recognizing the Strategic Framework is an extensive body of work, we have designed several different ways for everyone to access it starting Wednesday, January 9, 2013. These include:   

• Visiting DetroitLongTerm.com to download the Strategic Framework;

• Stopping by your neighborhood Detroit Public Library to review a copy;

• Calling the Detroit Future City hotline toll free at 800-234-7184; 

• Inviting a Detroit Future City representative to your meeting; or

• Dropping by the Homebase at 2929 Russell Street anytime between 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. for the first of 4 open houses during which you can see the new Detroit Future City exhibition that will be on display.  The other open houses will be held January 15th, 22nd, and 29th from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.
