Detroit Stories inspires Poster Project
Detroit Stories, the oral history project sponsored by Detroit Works Project Long Term Planning, has inspired a local Poster Project hosted by Detroit100series. Detroit100series looks to create 100 artistic projects based in the city of Detroit created by citizens of Detroit. The Poster Project encourages artists, students, community members and anyone with an idea, to find inspiration in the personal histories of the city.
This is an ongoing project that hopes to collect posters by March 31, 2013 for an exhibit in 2013. To get inspiration for your poster, check out the most recent Detroit Story on Brenda Carson found below.
