Walter passed away April 7, 2013.  He was surrounded by friends and family.  Mass and interment will be in Kennebunkport, Maine.

He was born in Pennsylvania November 4, 1920, and spent the majority of his career in Maine. After partial retirement in 1989, he served as the President of Northern Utilities. Inc., and was also a Director of Bay State Gas Co. through 1997.

He and his bride, Kirsten, were married in Portland, Maine, October 3, 1987.  During retirement they enjoyed seasonal visits, since 1993, to Naples and their summers in Kennebunkport, Maine.
