FLORIDAMAKES
| FloridaMakes' Assessments Contribute $$ Value Results for SFMA Members As a benefit to SFMA members. FloridaMakes offers free enterprise assessments. And several SFMA members who have gone through the assessment process are already reporting significant dollar-value results.
ADI Metal in Fort Lauderdale worked with FloridaMakes to institute a series of changes after their enterprise assessment and have realized great dollar value within the first 6 months of the engagement.
Company President Betsy McGee noted, "This is just the beginning as we strategically enable ADI Metal's growth and continued profitability. Future plans include the implementation of new business systems and applied cost accounting tools to reduce overhead and effectively manage inventory value, rotation, and pricing policies which today are accomplished manually."
Sancilio & Company, Inc. in Riviera Beach capitalized on the findings of their FloridaMakes enterprise assessment. The company was able to significantly improve throughput, eventually reducing customer late backlog to zero, hire and/or retain 12 employees, and began the implementation of new or improved business processes and systems,. Jeff Johnson, Senior Vice President of Manufacturing, noted: "We are experiencing prodigious growth within our business, and the South Florida Manufacturers Association, and the partnership with FloridaMakes are invaluable resources in that growth."
Contact Jay Hess, your SFMA FloridaMakes Business Advisor, to schedule an enterprise assessment for your company. Jay can be reached at jay.hess@floridamakes.com and at (954) 494-4895.
