The accomplishments of the Green Teams throughout the University are always astounding. Our spotlight this month goes to The Gregarious Green Lions, at the Larson Institute.

After reaching Level 4 of the Green Paws Program, the Gregarious Green Lions at the Larson Institute have kept going with new initiatives. The team launched a self-sustainability program in their central office, developing a sign-up sheet for staff to bring in a healthy snack each week to share.

They also converted personal workspaces to standing desks. On top of this, they also held a workshop on how to make one's own natural, non-toxic cleaning solutions! Such self-prepared products save money and help remove toxic chemicals from our work and home living spaces.
